Covid-19 has been a global pause button, a chance to think about the future of travel. What defines “responsible tourism” as a solution to overtourism? About the Speaker
Carol Dimopoulos is the founder and CEO of Learning Journeys where she brings her passion for personal transformation through education and responsible travel programs globally. She is a prominent expert in both business and academia in the field of learning travel.
She brings the principles of personal transformation to world of travel, creating experiences of learning in a destination to fully absorb the culture and community. She is committed to servicing communities through the journeys, and incorporates giving back through service projects. She holds an MBA and serves as an adjunct faculty member at SUNY Empire State College where she share her knowledge of business and entrepreneurship with a focus on business ethics, women in business as well as global marketing and communications. She is currently a doctoral candidate at The University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Her enthusiasm and passion for transforming self through the travel platform invites travelers to think in new ways by investing in learning and growing through travel.
