Pre-Day • Position yourself in Boston
We depart as a group the next morning. Today you should arrive any time. Hotel is not included on this night.
Day 1 • Boston to Brattleboro via Newport
- We depart Boston at 9AM and head to Newport, RI.
- We’ll do a driving tour and tour the famous Breakers Mansion. After a break for lunch, we head out west.
- We continue on to Western Mass to visit the Yankee Candle Factory and end with a Creepy Walking Tour of Deerfield, MA.
- Walk the quiet town and hear about the history and bloodshed that happened here.
- Dinner tonight is on your own.
Day 2 • Brattleboro to Littleton
- We have a full day! We head to Woodstock, VT.
- This quaint little town is full of history and we will do a walking tour of the village green followed by a chance to explore the visitor center.
- After, we head to Quechee Gorge – a must stop on most itineraries.
- Onward to Montpelier, the smallest State Capital in America, where we’ll break for lunch.
- We will visit Morse Farm and the Waterbury area, including Ben & Jerry’s and Cold Hollow Cider Mill.
Day 3 • Littleton to North Conway
- We start with a brief tour of Littleton, NH and get a chance to learn some stories about the area and see some incredible highlights, including a secret museum and the world’s longest candy counter!
- We then head to Franconia Notch with stops and stories along the way. Highlights include: Franconia State Park, Old Man in the Mountain, Flume Gorge (Visitor Center), The Basin, Lincoln / Welcome Center, Kancamagus Highway, Best picture stops: Sabbaday Falls, Lower Falls, Russell-Colbath Homestead and Albany Covered Bridge.
Day 4 • Mt. Washington to Maine
- We climb Mt. Washington today on the famous Cog Railway.
- Hear the stories to tell as we head to the base and experience the views way up top.
- We will then head across the road to Bretton Woods Ski Lift and if in operation, we will take the chair lift to the top for more incredible valley views.
- We will then head to Portland for a guided tour of Maine’s largest city and we have the evening to enjoy the town.
Day 5 • The Maine Coast to Boston

This is a big day! We start with a visit to
Kennebunkport
, which is on almost every group itinerary and even though it is a small town, it’s packed with history and hidden gems.

We will teach you the commentary and highlights to make you look like a star.
- We then head to Ogunquit for a beautiful walk along Marginal Way, a coastal walk that is a wow moment for all group tours.
- We will visit Nubble Light House, explore and do lunch in Portsmouth, NH and then make our way to historic (and creepy) Salem, MA! We will show you how to build a self-guided tour for your guests to explore.
- After, we show you our secret wow lunch spot on Revere Beach before heading to the hotel to check-in.
- After checking into the hotel, we will give you an introduction to East Boston, a neighborhood underutilized by groups. Learn about it’s rich history and simple ways to incorporate it into arrival days with groups. Our Farewell Dinner will be at a local East Boston restaurant (One of Alan’s faves!)
Day 6 • Departure Day
- Departure day! Or stick around Boston and explore this incredible city! We will happily give you pointers on where to go and what to see!
